This course is designed to prepare you for the life stage of perimenopause. We will reveal essential knowledge we wish we had known ahead of time. The course is designed to run for 12 weeks. You will receive a new packet every week in your Practice Better Portal and you have 6 months to work through it at your leisure. We are available for 3 live coaching calls.

Laurel is an international speaker,  author,  journeyer, traveler, wellness advocate, mother, wife, friend, and seeker. Laurel has spent thirty years educating and supporting women throughout the various life cycles as a doula, lactation consultant, perinatal educator, speaker, author of best-selling books, yoga instructor, travel guide, and wellness coach. She has a specific interest in epigenetics, the microbiome, nutrition, and sleep. During her experience in the transition time of life (perimenopause), she realized how many women feel estranged and wish for community AND answers during this time. This led to her desire to be a transition mentor and offer education, coaching, and menopause retreats to support women experiencing this incredible and challenging life change. She enjoys writing books, speaking at conferences on perinatal and women's health issues, consulting, training the healthcare community on women's health issues, and serving on maternal child health boards. You can often find her hiking, meditating, mountain biking, kayaking, taking road trips, and reading women's travel books, spiritual books, and historical biographies.

Maria specializes in Functional fitness, healthy movement, and finding freedom in the body. She has personal experience understanding autoimmunity, specifically Thyroid health. After exposure to toxic mold, her mystery symptoms paved the way for Maria to pursue functional medical advice after no luck with her Primary Care doctor. Perimenopause collided with her mold and thyroid illness, and she had to do her own research to get well. Maria has an extensive background in dance and was a professional dancer for 15 years. Understanding the demands physical fitness can place on the hormones, joints, and recovery systems of the body, Maria had crafted a Functional fitness program that creates space for the many varied forms of movement and emotion in the body. From quiet somatic breathing techniques to sweaty rhythmic salsa steps, Maria can guide you through many avenues to feel fully alive in your body. She believes movement is medicine, our bodies are miracles with incredible range, and we are meant to stay active.
